Vehicle Lifts Ryerson Base Seattle, WA
Designed custom vehicle lifts for maintenance of Metro's fleet of 40' and 60' buses. Metro had very specific requirements for the vehicle lifts. We provided a study showing the relative costs and benefits of custom lifts versus commercially available lifts. Based on their needs, Metro chose our proposed custom lifts. The lifts are designed in accordance with the requirements of the Automotive Lift Institute, but incorporate features not available in the commercial lifts. The project required close coordination with civil, structural, and electrical engineering for the complete installation. Acted as the owner's representative throughout fabrication, installation, and commissioning.

Passenger Loading System Colman Dock Seattle, WA
Provided design engineering for the passenger loading cab and passenger ramp for the renovation of the Colman Dock ferry terminal in Seattle. Performed the design studies for accommodating all of the ferries in WSF's fleet, accounting for tides and the predicted sea level rise.
